Today: The wedding, Lucy, and another wedding?

Me and the in-laws in the Outer Banks, NC

A whirlwind

The past few weeks have been…fun 😅

I officiated my brother in law’s wedding in North Carolina (all went well)!

Then I drove 7 hours home after the ceremony (ate sunflower seeds to keep me awake. Effective, but all the salt burned my tongue 😂)

Had a full, peaceful day with just Dana and Judah.

That night, Dana went into labor.

And Lucy Grace joined us at 9:52 the morning of April 27th 🥰

Dana was amazing, as always.

Grateful the timing worked out like it did. And even if it didn’t, we had peace.

Spent the past few weeks unplugged from work and fully plugged into family.

dad got to go to forest day with the kids 🌳

Such good quality time with the big 3 while Dana and Lucy rested and found a feeding/sleeping rhythm.

And now, we’re starting to settle into somewhat of a routine.

(still figuring out how to handle the uptick in laundry…let me know if you have tips 😅)

Four kids age 5 and under is as crazy as you probably think it is.

But it’s an adventure we’re excited to be on.

Next up?

We’re hosting my sisters wedding in our back yard in 5 weeks :)

It’s been a great excuse to have my parents and Dana’s parents over our house every weekend to hang out, do yard work and be shoulder to shoulder on something.

Working together with our hands has been one of the most enjoyable things we’ve done this year. Especially since all of my work tends to be on a computer screen.

Some exciting things in the works for Malachi Daily, so I’ll share more on that once I’m back in the work saddle.

Until next time 🫡

P.S. Judah’s favorite new skill? Climbing..

I went into the kitchen for 2 seconds and came back to this…

He had such good balance I had to get a picture to show Dana 😂
