I’ll be getting into a more consistent rhythm of sharing the things I’m working on that have to do with faith, family, entrepreneurship and comedy 👀

Fun things going on in my world 🌎️ 

• 😀 We’re in the 10 day period every year where we have 2 kids who are the same age. They’re both 3 and amazing. #irishtwins

• 👰 My brother-in-law and his fiancé asked me to officiate their wedding in 2025. Honored and excited!

• 🎾 I play pickleball (not sure why they haven’t made a pickleball emoji yet)

• Dana’s pregnant🤰 

Fun things going in my work world 💼 

I diversified my work life. Beyond coaching and consulting with entrepreneurs, here are a few things I’m working on:

• 🙏 Malachi Daily (the scripture memorization service) will be transitioning to a newsletter model for the short-term. Long story short, emails are WAY cheaper to send than texts (so I can keep it free for peeps).

• 🤰 A pre-pregnancy course: I'm building a course with my wife (who is a birth doula among many other things).

  • The course will be to help demystify birth for people who aren't even pregnant yet but think they want to have a baby in the future). So many young women have fear around birth, much of which is due to a lack of education about what it entails and what their options are. Super pumped about this :)

• 🚀 I’m heavily involved in a health-tech startup my friend built and we’re looking to scale it in the next 12 months.

  • If you know anyone in who works in leadership at drug and alcohol, eating disorder or assisted living facilities, let me know!

• 🎙️ Listening to: The Ghostrunners Podcast, a clean comedy improv-style podcast between 2 best friends. Good laughs, wholesome content. Great for making folding the dishes or doing laundry more enjoyable.

• 📚️ Reading: The Story Circle by Joshua Lenon. Gifted to me by a new friend and loving it.

• 🧠 Learning From: Cam Houser’s (free) newsletter about shooting your shot and winning more opportunities by thinking outside the box.

We spent last week in the Asheville, NC area visiting Dana’s 88-year old grandma 👵 

I’ve been getting in the habit of asking more experienced folks (read: old people) thought provoking questions.

That said, I was not expecting this from Grandma Doris..

👨🏻Me: Grandma, I know I spend time worrying about things today that I’ll think are trivial when I’m older…

What’s one thing you used to worry about that you don’t worry about anymore?

**not even a fraction of hesitation, in a thick southern North Carolina accent..

👵 Grandma: Well, getting pregnant for one thing…
